Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you buy from FootyFrame as a consumer. They don't limit the rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Last updated:
1. Who you are buying from
FootyFrame is a brand of FX Media AS, a Norwegian limited company (the seller, “we”, “us”). Our business details are at the foot of this page. You can reach us at info@fx-media.no or +47 401 85 596.
2. What we sell
Framed art prints, printed and framed to order. Every artwork is designed by us; product photos are digital mock-ups, and colours can vary slightly between screens and paper. Our prints don’t use club crests, logos or other trade marks, and we aren’t affiliated with any club, league or governing body.
Prints are produced and shipped by our production partner at the facility nearest your delivery address. We remain your seller and are responsible to you for the order.
3. Personalised prints
Some prints carry text you choose (for example team names, a date or a seat). The live proof on the product page shows exactly what will be printed, so please check spelling before you order. You confirm that the text is yours to use and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or contain offensive content. We may refuse or cancel (with a full refund) an order that asks us to reproduce crests, logos or other protected artwork, or whose text we consider unlawful or offensive.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP), euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD); you choose the currency in the site header and are charged in that currency.
- Prices include VAT where applicable and standard shipping to the countries we deliver to. There are no hidden fees at checkout.
- Payment is taken by card or other methods offered by our payment provider Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.
- If a price on the site is obviously wrong (a clear pricing error), we’ll contact you before production and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. How the contract is made
You place an order by completing checkout. The contract is made when your payment is confirmed and we send the order confirmation by email. We may cancel an order before production (for example if an item can’t be produced, or for the reasons in section 3), in which case we refund you in full.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. Production usually takes 2–4 working days and delivery a further 2–7 working days depending on the destination; see Shipping & Returns. These are estimates. If we haven’t delivered within 30 days of the order (or a later date we agreed with you), you may cancel and get a full refund. Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, receive them.
7. Your right of withdrawal (14 days)
For prints that are not personalised, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period expires 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before the period ends — for example by email to info@fx-media.no with your name, order email and the item. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you don’t have to.
Effects of withdrawal
- We refund all payments received for the withdrawn items, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are told of your decision.
- We may wait to refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown proof of sending them, whichever is earlier.
- We refund using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
- Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the direct cost of returning them; we’ll give you the return address. Please pack the frame carefully — glazed frames break easily.
- You are only liable for any loss in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Exception: personalised prints
The right of withdrawal does not apply to prints made to your specifications or clearly personalised — for example the Personalised Match Day Ticket, or a terrace print with your own line of text. This exception is set out in the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven § 22 b), the EU Consumer Rights Directive (art. 16(c)) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (reg. 28(1)(b)). Your rights if a personalised print is faulty or damaged (sections 8 and 9) are not affected.
Model withdrawal form
To FX Media AS, Ringlevegen 4, 7655 Verdal, Norway, info@fx-media.no:
I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods: ____ · Ordered on / received on: ____ · Name of consumer(s): ____ · Address of consumer(s): ____ · Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ____ · Date: ____
8. Faulty goods — your legal rights (complaints / reklamasjon)
If a print or frame is faulty, not as described or doesn’t match the order, you have legal rights in addition to the right of withdrawal. Please tell us within a reasonable time after you notice the problem, ideally with a photo.
- Norway and the EU/EEA: you can complain about defects for at least two years from delivery, and you are entitled to a repair or replacement (for prints, normally a free reprint), a price reduction, or to cancel and get your money back, under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven) or your national law.
- United Kingdom: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery; after that you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that fails, a price reduction or refund. You may have up to six years to bring a claim (five in Scotland).
These rights cost you nothing: we pay any reasonable return cost for faulty goods, and usually we’ll simply reprint without asking for the item back.
9. Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged (for example cracked glazing or a broken frame), email a photo of the item and the packaging to info@fx-media.no. We’ll send a free replacement or, if you prefer, refund you in full. Please tell us as soon as you can — within 30 days of delivery helps us claim from the carrier — but this doesn’t shorten your legal rights in section 8.
10. Our designs
All artwork, text and code on this site belong to FX Media AS or its licensors. Buying a print gives you the print, not the right to copy, reproduce or sell the design.
11. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We aren’t liable for business losses, or for loss we couldn’t reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your mandatory consumer rights.
12. Personal data
We use your details to process and deliver your order. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie notice.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first — we’ll try to put it right quickly. If we can’t agree:
- Norway: you can ask the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, forbrukerradet.no) to mediate. If mediation fails, the case can go to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). The Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet, forbrukertilsynet.no) supervises consumer law and marketing.
- EU/EEA: you can contact the consumer authority or out-of-court dispute body in your country, or the European Consumer Centre network (ECC-Net), which helps with cross-border purchases.
- United Kingdom: Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can advise you, and you can go to court, including the small claims track.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order applies to that order.
